In short: because YSF and Wires-X are 2 different things, Wires-X is proprietary and cannot be accessed by a hotspot and Yaesu cracked down on YSF <-> Wires-X bridges.

All voice communication whether it is DMR, YSF, Wires(X), Repeaters, HF should be in plain speach not using Q-Codes.
Q-Codes were meant for CW and just muddles the waters and confuses people.
You do not need to say "hi hi" and then laugh afterwards.
If you are assisting with emergency services it is now requested to use plain language. Plain language is the standard for communications not Q-Codes.
